There's no crying in MMA!

It looks like MMA is going to have their first women's championship belt. According to sherdog.com, EliteXC is in the process of adding a women's championship belt and a women's fight night. The potential championship bout could be between Gina Carano (Crush if you watch American Gladiators) and Kaitlin Young or perhaps later in the fall. The plan is for the belt to be for a 140lbs. division.
Now Gina Carano and 140lbs don't mix very well (see above pic). So you have to wonder why EliteXC would make their newly created division's weight so difficult for their biggest female star to make? Perhaps the reason is with so few female fighters they need a weigth class that everyone can make.
Anyway we look forward to beautiful women beating each other up on CBS, it will be like tila tequila!
