Affliction Banned Preview: Andrei Arlovski vs. Ben Rothwell

Andrei Arlovski (12-5) vs. Ben Rothwell (29-5)

This fight is the most interesting bout besides the main event. Ben Rothwell was one of the few stars to come out of the IFL. This Miletich fighter hasn’t lost since 2005 and now finds himself as a top-ten heavyweight with a bout against a fellow top ten heavyweight in Arlvoski.

Andrei Arlovski is coming off of a three fight win streak but those victories were all less than satisfactory. During this streak he did defeat Fabricio Werdum in a snooze fest. A fight that some have linked as the cause of his UFC contract issues. There are also whispers that Arlovski has gone soft, wouldn't you go soft if you dated a chick like the one above. Oh they are broken up now so maybe Andrei has gotten that rage back when he was the guy with the crazy vampire teeth.

Both fighters like to stand and trade and we will see if Arlovski’s aggressiveness has returned. Arlovski is a 2 to 5 favorite but that was a fake betting site, real betting sites don’t even have odds. That means they don’t want to take any bets, meaning who knows who will win.
