The Cyborg Cometh

Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos steamrolled through Shayna Baszler on Saturday night all but assuring an eventual match up against EliteXC poster girl Gina Carano. EliteXC's most exciting division is quickly becoming their female division even though they don't have Kim Couture, just kidding.

Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos (EliteXC has her last name listed as just Cyborg) is Brazilian who specializes in Muy Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, remind you of anyone? In her debut on CBS she was explosive and aggressive with her Muy Thai and looked identical to fellow Brazilian and Chute Box fighter, Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva (they even kind of look a like). Cyborg knocked out Shayna twice though Steve Mazzagati didn't call the fight the first time. It was quite hysterical watching Cyborg jump on top of the cage celebrating her victory though the fight wasn't done. But Cyborg's debut was terrifyingly brutal causing Gina Carano to simply say "Oh my god Cyborg let's do this." Hot!

Cyborg versus Carano is the fight I am most lookign forward to in EliteXC. That should be their next main event.
