The Demotion continues...

Poor Gary Shaw. CBS continues their pillaging of ProElite, okay more like restructuring. This came out yesterday that both Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer Doug DeLuca and EliteXC Live Events President Gary Shaw have resigned from the company. Both individuals are being retained as 'consultants'.

One thing about all this is it seems that some executive at CBS has a lot riding on the success of EliteXC. It appears to me that he is removing control from anyone who may fuck it up. I guess you can understand why the UFC has taken so long to get the network deal, because these network executives appear to be some cut-throat sons of bitches.
