Some disappointing news Thiago Alves versus Diego Sanchez has been moved from UFC 89 on October 18th in England to UFC 90 on October 25th in Chicago Illinois. This was a match-up that really fit well into UFC 89, a card that didn't have an 'it' fight (you can't tell Bisping vs. Leben is that fight).
In other news Anderson Silva is moving back to middleweight. Not a big shocker. But his opponent in his next fight, Yushin Okami, is injured and will be unable to fight. It appears that Patrick Cote will step into the #1 contender role to take on Silva. This is pretty disappointing due to the fact that Okami holds a victory (due to disqualification) over Silva. Cote is on a win streak but he has as much of a chance as James Irvin had.
