Do you believe in Afghanis!

A quick Olympic update this afternoon. No its not about beach volleyball. Instead it is about that country we invaded in 2002, Afghanistan. In a stunning upset, Rohullah Nikpai defeated world champion Juan Antonio Ramos of Spain to earn the bronze medal in taekwondo. This was Afghanistan's first ever Olympic medal and if you remember when these game started I totally called it. Too bad NBC isn't showing more taekwondo, besides this historical event that will relegated to rerun's we also didn't get to see seventeen year old Charlotte Craig. Oh well I am sure Bob Costas will spend some time discussing it with George W. Bush oh that's right he is busy slapping Misty May's back.
