Ken Shamrock to receive an ass kicking on October 4th

It is official Ken Shamrock 'the world's most dangerous man' will face Kimbo Slice, the world's most famous porn bouncer on October 4th on CBS. While totally not a legit fight between top tier talent, this fight does have entertaining freak show side circus written all over it!

Seriously though it is a smart move for EliteXC. There two bread winners are Gina Carano and Kimbo Slice. These fighters need to keep winning in entertaining fashion. It is not secret that EliteXC's parent company ProElite needs some cash. While they do have the CBS network deal they need to make it profitable or the whole organization may go down. Besides free fights that only get advertising dollars aren't suppose to be competitive (Anderson Silva vs. James Irvin anyone?). They are suppose to build hype and be a good show. Pay per view is where the legit combat happens so people will buy the fight card. That is why Cyborg isn't fighting Carano or Rogers isn't fighting Slice.
