Olympic Hangover

It is Monday morning and the Olympic hangover is setting in. Where is Bob Costas and overly heartwarming tales of the triumph of the human sprit? There aren't anymore commercials involving athletes working out then eating McDonalds. No more Visa commercials or Chinese propaganda. I mean what I am going to do all day?

While the host of U.S. media coverage surrounded women errr girls gymnastics, Michael Phelps and the Nike sponsored Redeem Team, there were a few good moments for combat sports. Afghanistan won there first ever Olympic medal and we met Charlotte Craig. There were also some bad moments mostly involving grown men acting like four year olds, like this or this.

But now that the Olympics have sailed into that sweet goodnight I can start focusing on what really matters.....football and MMA. Speaking of which just twelve days till UFC 88!
