Olympics

The Olympics begin tonight and I encourage everyone to watch. Besides being the best event in modern sports (what else unites the world besides hating America) it also highlights several aspects of MMA. Namely the sports Boxing, Taekwondo, Judo and Wrestling. While MMA will most likely never enter into the Olympic forum these pure combat sports still illustrate the diversity and skill present in the world. I suggest that people pay close attention to Taekwondo due to the fact Afghanistan has a great chance to win a medal (I believe their first) in this sport. I am going to watch Chariots of Fire to get in the mood.
