Shogun Returns

Finally Shogun is set to return. Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua was the top light-heavyweight in the world before he lost to Forrest Griffin over a year ago. After that fight it came to light that Rua fought the bout without an ACL. Shogun went under the knife to fix his damaged knee hence the picture above. All looked well and a fight was schedule against Chuck Liddell. But Rua re-injured the knee and we are stuck with the shitty Rashad Evans vs. Liddell match up for the UFC's debut in Atlanta.

But do not fear my friends, Shogun will return! According to the Junkie he should be back in December to face Rampage. Notice this report is total rumor so spread it around.

It will be nice to Shogun back in the Octagon. Hopefully he will show his old Pride form and become a force in the 205 division.
