The Olympics are here and I know you will be watching Badminton on NBC Saturday night. If Brian Urlacher and Big Papi playing kiddie tennis on vitamin water doesn’t do it for you there is some UFC action occurring in Minneapolis. The prelim card is below and previews for the main cards will be up later…
PRELIMINARY CARD
Luke Cummo vs. Tamdan McCrory
Dan Evensen vs. Cheick Kongo
Jon Jones vs. Andre Gusmao
Steve Bruno vs. Chris Wilson
Notes: If Luke Cummo loses this fight he may be gone from the UFC. A TUF alumn and wild rice eater he has managed to stick around for a while despite being just okay.
Cheick Kongo needs to win. The heavyweight division is in desperate need of contenders and quality competition, especially with Affliction holding five of the top ten. The UFC is really hoping he wins.
