Injuries are part of any sport and there are two new ones to announce this morning. Light heavyweight contender Lyoto Machida is off the UFC 89 card. Also lightweight Melvin Guillard is off the UFC 90 card.
Machida really isn't a surprise considering his opponent, Thiago Silva was already hurt. There are some rumors that he will face Shogun.
Guillard on the other hand is a bit of a mystery. There has been no official word other than he is out. Maybe he did some more blow but who knows.
