Preview: Kimbo Slice vs. Ken Shamrock

For ProElite and EliteXC tomorrow night is their make or break debate. Will the ratings be like they were in May, or will it fall flat like the second show. Is the star power of Gina Carano and Kimbo Slice enough to save EliteXC. Or will CBS dump them with other bad fall television shows.

Main Event: Kimbo Slice (2-0, 2-0 EXC) vs Ken Shamrock (26-13-2 ,0-0 EXC)

Can Kimbo overcome his lackluster performance by knocking out the old guy? The answer is yes. EliteXC is dependent on Kimbo’s ability to win and there is no way they are going to risk him losing.

So let’s look at the match up real quick; Ken Shamrock is John McCain old, Kimbo Slice porn bouncer old. Ken Shamrock three seconds away from being a punch drunk Irishman, Kimbo Slice three seconds away from being exposed in the Thmopson fight. Ken Shamrock hasn’t beaten anyone in years, Kimbo Slice also hasn’t beaten any legit fighters in years.

Wow that actually looks like a pretty even match up. But Ken is fighting on Kimbo’s turf and I am not talking about the refs. The fight is at heavyweight, which favors Kimbo due to Ken’s natural weight class being light heavyweight.

While the fight is going to be a weird circus hopefully it won’t last as long as Kimbo’s last fight so I can get to bed and not have to write any apologist posts.
