Jens Pulver vs. Urijah Faber II

Jens Pulver will face off against Urijah Faber again, this January at WEC 38. This rematch seems a little odd, due to the fact that their first fight was a lopsided victory for Faber. Not to mention Pulver is on a two fight losing streak, not exactly the resume for trying to get a title shot.

If Faber wins again, and he should, it will be interesting to see if he gets his rematch with Mike Brown. If that happens then Pulver-Faber II will essentially be a money making pit stop for the WEC. Due to Pulver's recent struggles a victory here should not garner Faber an instant title shot. Maybe building up the new champ, Mike Brown, would be prudent in case he defeats the 'California poster boy' a second time.
