ProElite's assets being auctioned off

The news of the death of ProElite and EliteXC is old and their corpse has grown cold. But like any true capitalist culture it is time to rifle through their pockets and take what little they have left.

"Showtime gave the Issuer a notice pursuant to the Security Agreement, as amended, that it intends to sell all of the Issuer's personal property, whether tangible or intangible, to the highest bidder at a public sale," states the filing. "Showtime reserves its rights under the Security Agreement, as amended, and applicable law to adjourn or cancel the sale and thereafter dispose of such property in a public or private sale or in any other manner provided by applicable law."

Mark Cuban's HDNet has to be the front runner considering they paid (overpaid) $650,000 for the IFL's intellectual property. Might as well go two-for-two and buy up some another MMA's promotions video library to show on HDNet. What the hell else is Mark Cuban going to do? Buy the Cubs?
