With the economic downturn in full swing paying $44.95 for a UFC PPV event is a hefty chunk of change. How does a die hard MMA fan prioritize which fight cards to buy? Well WKR is following up on an item from
bloodyelbow.com, and will be assigning point values for each fight card to help MMA fans decide which cards to buy.
The math is simple, take the Bloody Elbow Meta Rankings--which are based off rankings from 20 MMA websites-- for each fighter and add the rankings together. All fighters on the card will be included due to the televised card not being finalized till immediately before the fight. The total point value by itself is only so useful, it will be compared to the next UFC event as well as the previous event. Also the lowest recorded and highest recorded events will be mentioned as well, plus a dollar to point comparison. So without further adieu WKR presents the UFC 91 Point Value.

UFC 91-Randy Couture (303) vs. Brock Lesnar (98) – Total: 401 (difference of 205 pts)
