UFC Cuts Jon Fitch

For those that thought Dana White was not a demagogue then this should dissuade your mind. The UFC cut Jon Fitch because of his reluctance to sign a lifelong contract with Zuffa so they could use his likeness in THQ's upcoming UFC videogame. The UFC is trying to stamp out American Kickboxing Academy fighters, which Fitch was apart of, due to their legal representation. Christian Wellisch was also cut on Wednesday, and heavyweight prospect Cain Velasquez and welterweight Josh Koscheck could be next. Though fellow AKA fighter Mike Swick called White to assure him he would not cause issues.

For all the good things the UFC has done it appears to be the Roman Empire, salting the earth over anything that may threaten its power structure. The UFC needs a fighter union and fast.
