Juanito Ibarra denies reports

A few days ago Wanderlei Silva commented that he was apporached by Rampage Jackson's former trainer, Juanito Ibarra, about the possibility of helping Wanderlei for their upcoming fight. Wanderlei refused the offer based upon principle.

Yesterday mmajunkie.com got Ibarra to comment about the story. Of course Ibarra denies ever approaching Silva and he has no idea where the story comes from and that is why he never pays attention to anything in the media.

Ibarra does bring up two good points. First that Silva has already decisively beaten Rampage twice. Secondly that Rampage is at a new camp so any inside information that Ibarra has shouldn't matter anymore.

However Ibarra doesn't retract or deny a quote by fighthype.com, where Ibarra says, "I have the formula that can make Wanderlei Silva beat Rampage easy; easy!"

It looks like Juanito Ibarra is living up to his sterling reputation.
