American Gladiator is cancelled, where can I get my Carano fix?

American Gladiators has been cancelled. Not really a big shock, the show was unwatchable and failed to capture any of the nostalgic magic of the old show. The new one treated the competition as a joke, which it always was, but the old show at least let the viewer watch the competition in real time, not the heavily edited, pseudo-dramatic events with announcing by Hulk Hogan.

The one thing the show did capture was America's attention for Gina Carano. She didn't feel fake like Titan or the other gladiators. She was a Muy Thai and MMA fighter, and the fact that you could watch her really fight on CBS changed many minds about the validity of female MMA.

Now with EliteXC and American Gladiators dead, where will Carano end up? Hopefully not in D-action movies, but in a national fight promotion. Only time will tell if her star will fade or continue to burn brightly.
