Changes in MMA legislation
In an attempt to make MMA legislation more attractive, Assemblyman Steven Englebrigh, has made two changes to the orginal piece of legislation. The first is an increase what share the state receives of an events live gate, from 3 percent to ten percent. The second is a three year 'sun-set clause'. This would ony legalize MMA for three years, then it would have to reaffirmed by New York law makers to stay legal.
