Gilbert Yvel cleared, no luck for Chris Horodecki

The California State Athletic Commission finally cleared Gilbert Yvel to fight, but former IFL lightweight champion, Chris Horodecki, was not cleared to fight due to a bulging disc.

Horodecki was slated to face Dan Lauzon yet during his pre-fight physical doctors discovered that Chris had a bulging cartilage disc at the base of his neck.

On the other side of the spectrum Gilbert Yvel was finally cleared to fight Josh Barnett. Yvel has a histroy of 'dirty' behavior and the Nevada State Athletic Commission denied him a fighting license in 2007.
