Meet Cláudia Gadelha. She's Brazilian if you couldn't tell by the...uh....accent, but she also appears to be a pretty decent fighter. Gadelha only has a 1-0 record according to Fight Finder and she will definitely need to improve that record before moving up the MMA ladder. Yet she does have that innate gift that could help elevate her status within the MMA community, beauty.

It's unfortunate that physical looks are part of a female athlete's cross-over appeal (we touched on this before and how it applies to male athletes as well) but due to Gina Carano's impressive mainstream stardom MMA promoters will always be on the lookout for the next female fighter who can successfully blend being beautiful with kicking ass.
