Will Kimbo's Next Opponent Please Stand Up?
We already knew that Kimbo Slice would fight again in the UFC but against whom?
It would have to be against an opponent who has zero ground game. Someone who has a glass chin that would gladly stand and trade with Slice. Who in the world could possibly fit this hyper-specific criteria?
Could it be Houston Alexander?
Of course!
Zero ground game. Check.
Glass chin. Check.
A pension to brawl. Check, check, check!
FiveOuncesofPain is reporting that Houston Alexander is being considered as the opponent for Kimbo Slice for UFC 107 on December 12th.
A source close to the situation advised FiveOuncesofPain.com today that although no bout agreements have been sent, at least one of the fighters has been formally approached about the possibility of the bout.
This would easily be one of the most anticipated, yet wholly awful fights in recent MMA history.
Kimbo Slice (3-1) has spearheaded the current season of TUF to record ratings yet lost in the third episode to former IFL heavyweight champion, Roy Nelson.
Houston Alexander (9-4) lost his last three fights in the UFC and recently rebound by defeating Sherman Pendergarst at MMA Adrenaline 4.
