WKR Comments of the Week

There was a lot of discussion about the Sydney Morning Herald's biased article towards MMA. Reader Steve W thinks he knows why the Aussies are uncomfortable with the UFC coming to Australia,

"Unfortunately for the UFC, it’s not going to help their image when they debut their hot new Australian heavyweight contender."

Boxer, Bernard Hopkins, fired a broadside at MMA saying, "To me, I'm not buying a ticket to watch two grown men with panties on, sweating, with nuts in their face."

Well Greenbeard thinks he knows why Hopkins isn't down with the pantie party,

"Obviously he’s just saying he likes his sweaty nuts-in-the-face panty free."

The latest episode of TUF and the latest "drain babies" incident left some readers, like Dmerit, feeling disenchanted,

"Calling it! WORST SEASON EVA"

The prospect of Dream champions fighting Strikeforce champions left some of us a little confused. But WKR reader MMASuPreMaCy sees more match-ups then what some of us initially thought,

Huh?

i don't get why some people are complaining about this.

They didn't say they were going to unify the titles by the end of the year, just that that was a goal for them, which makes MMA fans happy. Strikeforce should have a champ for every division, except FW by the end of the year as well. DREAM has longer to go, but they will be hosting GP's or having championship fights to close those gaps.

I think we can all see what the intent here is, even of some of the divisions don't have a belt at the moment.

Greenbeard thinks he knows what profession would be good for disgraced UFC fighter, Junie Browning,

"This guy needs to find a more suitable line of work that matches his personality ther than fighting. Like clubbing baby seals."
