Fantasy #1 Contender: Your Winner: Jon Fitch

Your Winnaaaahhhhh

Well, I had a blast.  So thanks.  Fitch did not only walk his way to winning this title.  He walked, picked up a penny on the way, bought a shawarma sandwich from a street vendor, and stopped to use the bathroom because of the sandwich on his way to the title.  The following are the percentages he won his matches: 92%, 88%, 78%, and 64% in the finals.  This raises a lot of questions for me.  Being that it was only one year ago that GSP wiped the floor with Jon, do we think that Jon has improved over the past year or he is the Rich Franklin of the welterweight division?  Also, if he has improved over the past year can he take GSP now or at least be part of a more competitive fight?  Finally, even if Fitch is the best welterweight is there another competitor who poses a better stylistic problem for the champ?  Can any of the current welterweights CURRENTLY beat GSP and who has the best chance?

Final Bracket here.

Fitch is like a the Denver Broncos this year minus the last minute of the Bengals game.

Just rock solid and not flashy

We would bring in Antonio McKee to show Fitch and Guida how it is really done.

I wanna see Karo get back on track at 106… He hasn’t fought GSP in about 5 years now… Freakin’ Dan Hardy beat him hypothetically in the first round of this. :(
