Fitch vs. Almedia Is Off, Is Matt Hughes his next Opponent?

Fitch. My fight on Nov. 21st is off, Alemdia blew out his knee, but I get a bigger better fight instead. Can't say who yet, but lots of you have been waiting for this fight a long time.
With Almedia out no fight seems to make more sense then the #4 ranked Matt Hughes. You try to factor in ranking and star power and the #2 ranked Fitch and it appears that a possible opponent is narrowed down to fighting Hughes. Coming off a win over former welterweight champ Matt Serra, Hughes has made it clear that he wants to fight accomplished fighters and it doesnt get any more accomplished then power house Jon Fitch with 10-1 UFC record (19-3 overall) 1 loss to current champ and 2 loses @ 205lb for now all is speculated further updates to come.

im a big almedia fan, i was really looking forward to this one. i think he beats fitch.
it will be nice to see fitch beat the hell out of hughes though.
