Rampage has some thoughts on UFC 104

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson took to the internet to voice his opinion on the Machida-Shogun decision and let me warn you to brace yourself for a rant.

The main event was boring. I anticipated that because let's be real.. Machida is a boring fighter. But Shogun getting robbed like that was pretty cut throat. Then you hear Joe Rogan say you "you have to beat the champ to be a champ." & that made me think the UFC are full of (it)!

Not to be whiny here but I still don't feel like I've been beat in the UFC.. but I'm not champ anymore. If the UFC gives Shogun an immediate rematch because of the controversial loss then that would validate everything I have said about the UFC in my recent posts & why I'm (annoyed) at the UFC. But yet he deserves one & so have I deserved one against Forrest.

One good thing came out of the fight last night. Rashad looked more like a (female dog). If he would have just tried to fight Machida instead of just nutting up he probably could have done better. I saw every last one of Machida's weaknesses this last weekend. No wonder TUF is editing Rahsad to try to make him look good cause they need all their fighters to sell tickets. They never should have tried to make me look bad cause I'm the wrong person to pull that type of crap with. Cause I don't give a (darn) about the TUF show or about the UFC. ...

The UFC needs to get some new judges before I even think about coming back. I want the hardcore fans to go back & watch all the fights that you thought was kinda shady with the judges in the UFC & TUF & write down the names of the judges so you guys can complain & have a voice. ... Its hard for me to believe that the UFC is so successful & has over 100 shows & can't tell who wins a fight. How is it that they can't tell who wins a fight on an important title fight? Me doing TUF 10 & seeing how they edited it now & seeing how Wes Shivers lost his fight is making me very skeptical about the UFC. Note to TUF: Anybody involved in making the TUF show do me a big favor... Don't look at me cause you're fake. Don't talk to me cause you're fake. Don't even think about me cause you're fake. & if you do you might just get cussed the (heck) out.

To recap Jackson's thesis, Machida = boring, Shogun was robbed, Rasahd should have "nutted up", TUF sucks, I want new judges and a fired peanut butter sandwich.

hes right about the shogun part. he was robbed. i could easily of scored it a shutout for rua.

i agree with him on the whole “have to beat the champion” argument as well. is the most absurd and illogical argument in the world. if the guy won the fight, he won the fight and deserves the title. if he won but 1 point and 10 points. its still a win. always hate it when its mentioned in boxing and now they say it in mma. its friggin ridiculous.

Rampage is an idiot…he may have come off as comical before…now…his 8th grade education is starting to shine through…what a complete jackass…being that he’s quit the “biz” and is still complaining…he’s now on the same level as Ken Shamrock, or even Kalib Starnes…trying to tell everyone else how to do their job from sidelines…only difference is…I think both Shamrock and Starnes are at least willing to jump at the chance to get back in the octagon…I think…

IMO…but what is that worth? I’m not in the octagon either am I? So I guess my opinion is as valid as Rampages…screw that guy…

Open your eyes

First off LB BEN…if you don’t have the common sense to see what Rampage is saying then maybe you need to get your education up a bit. Every business has its politics and that’s pretty much all Rampage was saying. I mean he may not have expressed himself in a very articulate way but if you are so much smarter than him then you should read between the lines. Now how dare you mention Ken Shamrock and Kalib Starnes, have you ever fought professionally, have you even fought small time? Do you know what goes on behind close doors or are you just like everyone else who believes everything they see on television. Before you judge someone learn the facts you idiot. I’m a retired fighter and I know what it’s like to feel robbed because of politics and it sucks. Lyoto did not win that fight and I agree with Rampage 100% about the UFC. UFC got soft as soon as they got big. Oh and your opinion isn’t on the same level as Rampage, you are just another critic like everyone else, leave the real critque to those that have been there. I bet you wouldn’t say all that stuff to Rampage’s face!!!! SCREW YOU!!!

Right or wrong, I don’t pay attention to a thing he has to say anymore. Until he’s back inthe ring I could care less about his opinion on someone he backed out of fighting let alone the ring action.

the whole ‘you have to BEAT the champ’ quote isn’t meant to be taken literally – I think Rogan meant that’s how the judges think when it comes to scoring. And Rogan didn’t agree with the judges at all. Whoever does agree with that decision is NOT a true MMA fan. Both Lyoto and Anderson Silva believe that Machida won all 5 rounds handily. Silva’s a douche but at least he can fight. Machida was exposed and will lose the rematch easiy. Rampage is dead on here though. He11 – I think Rampage could beat Machida now after that last performance.
