Does Kimbo's Ominous Tweet mean he is fighting Houston Alexander?
The rumor going around MMA circles for a while now is that Houston Alexander will fight Kimbo Slice at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale or UFC 107 or UFC 108. You get the idea.
Now MMA Bay is "confirming" that Kimbo Slice and Houston Alexander will fight at UFC 107 and Slice will drop down to light heavyweight.
But this report loses some weight as UFC 107 is taking place in Memphis, Tennessee and the earlier news that Alexander applied for a fight license in Nevada was seen as evidence that these two would fight at the TUF 10 Finale.
About an hour ago Kimbo Slice tweeted the pictured tweet, which, conveniently, is extremely vague. Does this mean Alexander has accepted the bout?
Whatever the truth is (I mean, do you really trust MMA Bay?) a match-up between Kimbo and Houston makes sense. Here is what WKR wrote the first time this rumor was making the round.
It would have to be against an opponent who has zero ground game. Someone who has a glass chin that would gladly stand and trade with Slice. Who in the world could possibly fit this hyper-specific criteria?
Could it be Houston Alexander?
Of course!
Zero ground game. Check.
Glass chin. Check.
A pension to brawl. Check, check, check!
Seems to sum up the situation nicely.

UFC 107?
MMAJunkie is reporting that the fight will take place at the TUF finale Dec. 5th. That makes more sence with Alexander applying for a licence in Nevada. Kimbo as a light heavy should be interesting.

Here’s the thing about this fight:
One shot KO power: Houston over Kimbo – I think we can say that Kimbo’s “amazing” power has not translated from the streets to the cage. To land that many clean shots to the chin of James Thompson (a guy with real chin issues) and not do much more than buzz him was a real wake up call.
Speed: Houston over Kimbo – Kimbo is slow as shit, Houston actually has pretty good speed both in his footwork and his punches.
Diversity of strikes: Houston over Kimbo – Houston has damn solid leg kicks and good knees. Kimbo has…hands.
Chin: even – I don’t know that it’s fair to accuse Houston of having a glass chin. He was stopped by Thiago Silva which is…not exactly embarrassing or anything. And then was caught by a clean superman punch that KO’ed him against Irvin. I don’t think he has a great chin, but you can’t get caught clean by guys with big power wearing small gloves. Kimbo, on the other hand, was dropped like a rock by an off balance Seth Petruzelli who was moving backward as he threw the punch. I’d say both chins are questionable.
I’m just not seeing why people are so sure that Alexander is some easy “set ’em up, knock ’em down” fight for Kimbo.

Right...
If it were glass he’d have been finished there. I dunno…maybe I’m worrying too much about the definition of glass chin but as of right now I’d put Houston just a notch above glass. Like…Pyrex or something.

Jonathan Goulet? now i will say his chin is glass. hes a guy getting knocked cold rather easily. i think hes has 4 or 5 fights where hes been finished in less that 30 seconds.

I dont really think Houston will be a can for Kimbo I just think the UFC had to find an opponent that would stand and could be knocked out with a questionable strike.

I’m just saying…I hope the UFC isn’t looking at this as a sure thing for Kimbo because it’s anything but
