Down Goes Kurt Pellegrino
There is a saying that bad things happen in three's. For the UFC it appears that bad things happen in the dozens.
The latest fighter to withdraw from a fight is Kurt Pellegrino. His opponent, Frankie Edgar, tweeted the news earlier today. Edgar and Pellegrino were slated to fight on The Ultimate Fighter Finale.
Edgar is currently on the short list as possible lightweight contenders for the winner of the Penn-Sanchez title fight at UFC 107.
No word on the injury Pellegrino has three herniated discs in his back. Edgar expects to have a new opponent soon.
Maybe the UFC should give Roger Huerta a call.

Congratulations Frankie!
Nothing like beating Sean Sherk and getting to move on to Matt Veach…
Seriously… this is the best the UFC could come up with? Matt Veach? Sure he’s 11-0, but how do you go from beating Matt Grice to fighting Frankie Edgar?
