The Great Injury Blight Continues, Silva vs. Belfort off of UFC 108?
MMA Junkie is reporting that Anderson Silva will be unable to fight at UFC 108 on January 2nd due to his elbow surgery.
Silva was suppose to fight Vitor Belfort at UFC 108 but there has been speculation for months that Silva's injury would prevent him from fighting on the UFC's mega end of the year card.
Earlier this WKR wondered whether the UFC moved Lesnar vs. Carwin to UFC 108 in order to have insurance for that card's main event, as they never offered Shane an alternate opponent.
Then again this could just be the latest edition of the Anderson Silva elbow waffling saga.
