Dana White is Still Bitter About the Whole E:60 Thing
Back in May ESPN's investigative unit, E:60, profiled Dana White. Despite the hype leading into the broadcast it was fairly vanilla with the lead reporter Tom Farrey dropping the ball on the serious issues facing White and the UFC at the time. Here's what WKR wrote about the profile a day later,
The general impression from the MMA community was that the piece was neither hatchet nor controversial. That it was in fact fluff passed off as meaningful journalism. With ESPN failing to report correctly on the 'Unified Rules' while casually dismissing issues like Jon Fitch, fighter pay and expansion in favor of discussing White's bravado with the word f@#k.
Dana White was furious over the segment and called the profile a "hatchet job", "piece of [expletive]", "hit piece" etc. etc.
Later it became known that White had banned E:60 from receiving credentials at UFC events.
Fast forward five months and it appears that White still isn't ready to let the E:60 thing go. White tweeted this yesterday,

The link is to a video mix of some E:60 voice overs with footage from White video blogs and the song "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" (the Kill Bill theme). It was put together by AL 3, the official DJ of the UFC, as a gift for White.
It is a cool mix and definitely shows off AL 3's talent but it is also kind of weird that this was made for Dana as a gift. Isn't that an implicit admission that E:60 profile is still irritating the hell out White. If something is a gift doesn't that means the recipient would take pleasure in it? In the case of the video WKR can envision Dana being pleased by Tom Farrey's negative words turned around into a video that makes White look like a bad ass worthy of adulation.
On the other hand it could be that its just a cool video and its too early in the morning and Zak needs a cup of coffee to calm down.
