According to MMAWeekly.com UFC 105 will air free on Spike at 8:00pm ET on same day tape delay. Considering UFC 106 is stacked, UFC 105 is overseas, and UFC 105 has Brandon Vera as a headliner this is a smart and somewhat expected move. Even with Randy Couture there was probably not enough to draw a lot of buys from the casual fan for a daytime event and the next biggest name on the card after Couture is Michael Bisping. Also, the Illini play Northwestern on November 14 so I might actually get to see a Illinois football win (no guarantee) and a free UFC card. Check that as a great day.
