Fedor and Rogers will be at Bears Browns Game

It appears that CBS is finally ratcheting up the promotion for the best MMA fight this fall (sorry UFC fans but since Lesnar vs. Carwin was moved to 2010 Fedor vs. Rogers became the best fight of the fall of 2009)

Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers will appear at the Bears-Browns game as their fight will take place in Chicago this coming Saturday. Unfortunately for Strikeforce this is far from one of the marquee match-ups in the NFL this Sunday.

Just look at the NFL distribution map for CBS below,

See that small orange blot in the Midwest, that's the Bears-Browns game.

Luckily for MMA fans, the CBS executives realized that no one outside of Cleveland and Chicago will be paying attention to the Bears-Browns game so they decided to have Fedor and Rogers appear on CBS' halftime show. I can't wait for Bill Cowher to "show his appreciation" for Brett Rogers, err, wrong person.

Maybe CBS will wise up and show the "Fedor! Oh, Fedor!" song. Just saying...

Despite the earlier reports Fedor and Rogers were not interviewed on the CBS halftime show.
