Hector Lombard To Defend CFC Championship Against Kalib Starnes
Coming off a dominant performance against Jared Hess to win the Bellator FC middleweight championship, Hector Lombard (25-2-1) is now set to return to Sydney, Australia to defend his Cage Fighting Championships (CFC) title.
Lombard, who has successfully defended the CFC title 4 times, last defended it on February 20 against Ron Verdadero gaining the victory via a 20-second first round TKO stoppage. He has since completed his run in the Bellator tournament to be crowned the promotion's first 185 lb champion.

His upcoming opponent, UFC Veteran Kalib Starnes (14-4-1) was originally set to face Lombard on October 9 in Queensland, but a cut and a concussion to Lombard forced a delay, and a move in location.
