So, I used to work in this area of Pittsburgh called the South Side. It lives in infamy as having one the second most concentrated bars in a square mile area, second only to Bourbon St. And that was pre-Katrina. Anywho, every year, they have this South Side, street festival and parade. It’s extremely popular with us locals but it also brings out all of the freaks. This one year, I’m there and I see this obviously flamboyant (read: gay) gentlemen, who bared a striking resemblance to filmmaker John Waters, dressed in cut off shorts and a pink shirt tied at the midriff. He was walking with one arm slightly extended and his wrist on that hand limp, in a manner that accentuated a parody of homosexuals.

Why I am mentioning this now? Because that was the single gayest thing I had ever witnessed…
