Sad News: DMX Backs Out of Fight

According to allhiphop.com:
DMX’s career as a boxer has ended before it even began, as the rapper has pulled out of an upcoming boxing match, sources have told AllHipHop.com.
Allhiphop.com also hints at two possible reasons why the fight was squashed and neither would be very surprising:
One source said DMX pulled out of the fight because his safety could not be guaranteed, while another claimed that the rapper backed out because Thunder Promotions refused his request to "fix" the fight.
Who knows if any of this is true, but if so I find it amusing. This obviously has no impact on the sport of MMA, but after reading the interview over at Bloodyelbow and this report it pretty much reaffirms what we thought was going on. It was a fun ride while it lasted.
P.S. We surpsingly do not have a link to group all of our Alabama Pride Event stories together. Shocking.
