Chicago Sun-Times calls Fedor Fat

Fedor-chicago_medium

The Chicago Sun-Times brings us the latest example of mainstream ignorance courtesy of Cage Writer.

Here's the headline for those that don't feel like squinting your eyes,

"He's been compared to Ali and Tyson but with a body like that, how can Russian Fedor Emelianenko be the best mixed martial arts fighter in the world?"

While it is nice to see the Sun-Times give prominent coverage to an unknown foreign fighter (at least unknown to people who still read newspapers) it still rubs WKR the wrong way that their lead is essentially, "hey, how can this fat guy be a bad ass?"

WKR may have the answer. Log onto this contraption called the "youtube" and search "Fedor highlights." That should rectify any confusion.

that’s the funniest headline of all time. Fedor isn’t fat at all – dude just isn’t chisseled like GSP’s greasy ass.

They’ll think they’re so smart if Fed loses. But Rogers ain’t no four percent body fat guy either.
