Fedor defeated Brett Rogers via knockout but Rogers made the consensus #1 heavyweight look mortal. Did Fedor's mystique suffer or was it reinforced by his performance? Brett Rogers certainly earned some new fans and respect with his performance.
Jake Shields won the vacant Strikeforce middleweight title by defeating Jason "Mayhem" Miller. The fight was essentially a grappling match and the fans at the Sears Centre didn't appreciate the ground game. Can Shields continue to compete in the middleweight division or should he move back to his natural division of welterweight? WKR thinks that eventually Shields will have to move back down.
Gegard Mousasi took care of business against Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. Sokoudjou did what he always does: look good for a round then gas out and lose.
Finally we talk about Fabricio Werdum's victory over Antonio Silva. WKR asks if this means Werdum is next in line to fight Fedor.
WKR also talks about what the card means for Strikeforce and CBS long term future.

Cant stand this Fedor looks mortal talk I keep hearing. Maybe if this was 4 or 5 years ago that would make sense but Fedor has been through plenty of trials already in his career. He looked mortal in the Arlovski fight even. Fedors mystique comes from the fact that he cannot be beaten up till now. He can be fought and fought hard but what does that matter when hes finishing fights with KOs and submissions and has yet to lose.

I love it honestly because it puts the fear and excitement into his fights even when hes fighting someone he seemingly outclasses. Every time I watch him fight I get scared and think This just might be the one. And then Fedor reminds us all who he is.
