Jon Fitch Edges Mike Pierce for Unanimous Victory

Mike Pierce may not be a top-ten fighter but he certainly hang with the best of them as he took Jon Fitch to the judges score cards.

Overall the fight was slow and plodding with Jon Fitch winning on points through superior position. The crowd was very displeased with most of the bout with boos and insults heard throughout the fight. Going into the third round Pierce needed a knockout as he was down two rounds to none. In the final thirty seconds  Pierce was able to rock Fitch with a left hook but was unable to capitalize to finish the fight but it was enough to win Mike the round. 

Unfortunately for Pierce he lost the bout via unanimous decision.
