great shot of the gash over sanchez's forehead

now sanchez can listen to more anthony robbins tapes and climb the ladder again. does this mean a.r. tapes are bogus. lmao!

yes i am obsessive, obnoxious, in your face and all about covering the spread. those are my good qualities.

They're not bogus

They work for Diego, so they’re valid. Diego took the beating of a lifetime and still found it in himself to come forward. I don’t think many (any) of us could have done that. Furthermore, his attitude was great after the fight, which was amazing.

Positive thinking is easy when everything’s going good. Last night, Diego proved that he could maintain his attitude in the face of adversity, and that’s as good a testament to those tapes as I can think of.

Do I think they’d work for me? No. But they worked for Diego, and I’d think long and hard about calling them bogus after what I saw last night.

Nah, I'm pretty sure its bogus

Positive thinking carries with it the fallacy that thought, devoid of context or behavior, can change the world. No amount of positive thinking could change the fact that that Diego was horribly outmatched in that fight.

My motto,

is:
Dig and Be Dug
In Return.

They weren't supposed to improve his skills

If he thought they’d help him with technical skills, he’d put all his time in the tapes and skip the gym. They DO make you mentally strong, and Diego showed enormous mental strength throughout the course of the fight. So will they change the world? No, but even BJ acknowledged that Diego had gotten a lot further than his skills should have allowed for, and that extra success can be entirely attributed to his mental strength.
