UFC Matchmaking News
- The UFC confirmed that Dustin Hazelett will step in to replace Carlos Condit to fight Paul Daley at UFC 108. Hazelett was available due to Karo Parisyan's recent freak out immediately prior to UFC 106 in October. Since Dustin had already gone through a training camp he should be more than prepared to step in and fight Daley.
- Speaking of Carlos Condit, while Paul Daley was convinced that Condit was being a "p****" for withdrawing it turns out that Condit is injured. Carlos cut his hand on some sheet metal and told MMA Weekly that the cut went "to the bone" on one finger. According to Condit's facebook page he is also suffering an infection from the cut and has gone to the hospital for medical treatment
- Junior dos Santos vs. Gilbert Yvel was also confirmed for UFC 108.
- Dong Hyun Kim has withdrawn from his UFC 110 bout with Chris Lylte. This is really unfortunate because this fight could have been Kim's first fight in the UFC that wouldn't be a complete snooze-fest. Of course that would have been due to Chris Lytle's pension to brawl.

glad to see dustin get back in the game after getting fucked over by the pill popper. however, hes in trouble if he decides for one second to stand with daley. as for daley he better damn well connect cause he’ll get submitted within seconds of going to the ground. classic puncher vs jitz guy.
loving the dos santos and yvel fight as well. im leaning towards gilbert.
