Dan Henderson vs. Jake Shields in April on CBS?

While MMA fans know that Strikeforce will be returning to CBS in April, fans don't yet know what fights will be on the network card.Obviously Fedor Emelianenko and the newly signed Dan Henderson were rumored to be fighting in April but now FiveKnuckles.com is reporting that Henderson will be on the card and will fight Jake Shields.

Newly signed Strikeforce superstar Dan Henderson is in "end stage" negotiations to face Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields at the organizations next CBS event in April.

FiveKnuckles.com learned of the impending match-up from sources close to the organization, and though bout agreements have yet to be signed, the fight is in the process of being finalized according to multiple official sources.

No word on whether or not this will be for the middleweight Strikeforce title.

I bet Jake goes to the UFC and returns to welterweight after he loses to Hendo because he only has 1 fight left on his deal with Strikeforce.
And I’d be smiling to if I was Dan in that picture.
