Octagon Girl Shake Up: Natasha and Logan Cut by the UFC

This was taken before UFC 107. It is almost like they knew this was coming...

There has been a shake-up in the UFC's Octagon Girl roster:

MMAMadness.com has learned that both Natasha Wicks and Logan Stanton have been cut from the UFC as ring girls. Stanton's contract expired after UFC 107 and the UFC chose not to renew it. Wicks was cut before the expiration of her contract. Ring girl Arianny Celeste will remain on with the organization; as her contract has been recently renegotiated- explaining her absense from UFC 107.

Here I was thinking that Wicks and Stanton were given their pink slips due to that whole 'third wheel in the Octagon Girl clique.' (Hint: The third wheel is not Natasha or Logan).

Cagepotato echoes those sentiments,

With no other information to work off of at this time, we'll just assume that Arianny became jealous that her alpha-chick status was being threatened by the two newcomers, and went into them-or-me mode during contract negotiations.

Back to MMA Madness as they have details on the replacement for Wicks and Stanton.

According to sources, there will be only two ring girls from this point forward. Though it has not been officially announced, our insiders are being told Chandella Powell, a former playmate, will be the newest ring girl. It has yet to be released when Ms. Powell will start her official ring girl duties, though UFC 108 would be the obvious choice.

Below is a picture of the newcomer Chandella Powell.

For those keeping track the UFC has gone through four Octagon Girls, Ali Sonoma, Edith Labelle, Logan Stanton and Natasha Wicks since 2008.

Edith was the best "butterface" in the business

Wicks looks too much like Carly Simon and I was never really into Logan

harsh, I liked Logan. I thought she was a good fit.

Natasha, being a contest winner, seemed to be on borrowed time.

Natasha doesn’t seem too affected she just posted this over on her twitter.

I just want to say thank you to all the fans and UFC for the support and the awesome opportunity! :)

Maybe, doesn’t make it any less of a bummer. IMO, she’s the best octagon girl they have had since Rachelle. She had a great look…..and she should have just kept her mouth shut.
