Down Goes Sean Sherk! (Update)
When it rains it pours, and for UFC 108 the rain just keeps coming down.
Matt Erickson of the Northwest Indiana Times is reporting that Sean Sherk will be unable to fight at UFC 108 due to an injury.
Sean Sherk was originally scheduled to fight Rafaello Oliveira on the preliminary card but an injury to Tyson Griffin opened the door for Sherk to fight on the main card against Jim Miller. With Sherk's injury the door is open for another lightweight to fight on the televised card.
Some have described UFC 108 as a "cursed card" so WKR decided to get in touch with a witchdoctor to see if the curse is real. Well, the witchdoctor directed us to a very nice vampire who gave us the number of this necromancer. He in turn told us to consult this lawyer who went on a long rant about guilt, god and how he is a 'fan of man'. The gist of our foray into the netherworld is, yes, UFC 108 is cursed.
Update: Duane "Bang" Ludwig will take Sherk's spot. Sherk suffered a cut (after the jump) which forced him to withdraw
