Logan Stanton Describes UFC Dismissal as "Unprofessional"

When MMA fans heard that the UFC had split with Octagon Girls, Logan Stanton and Natasha Wicks, many broke down and channeled Luke Skywalker while screaming "That's impossible! Nooooooo!" Alright, that might be a slight exaggeration but fans were upset by the sudden dismissal of two of the three Octagon girls.
Well, we are not alone.
Logan Stanton spoke to MMA Fighting (formerly MMA Fanhouse) about the situation.
"They were promoting me and I was in the video game for next year, so I didn't think anything of it. I assumed that they were just going to renew my contract for at least another year."
She's in the video game?! That means they haven't blotted her out of UFC existence yet like Frank Shamrock. There is still time.
Stanton said she received a call from a UFC executive on Tuesday, informing her that her contract would not be picked up for another year.
"I was like, 'Wait, what? Are you breaking up with me?,'" Stanton said jokingly. "It totally took me by surprise. Natasha actually texted me a little bit before I got the phone call. She was like, 'The UFC just dropped me,' and I was like, 'What? Why?' I was confused about that. So when he told me he had bad news, I was like, 'Oh, I already know.' And then he pulled that one on me. And I was like, 'Wow,'
"I was kind of in shock at the time. I even said, 'Ok, thank you. Bye.' I was lame. I just said thanks. I really didn't know what to say to him. I was kind of upset for a minute. I teared up. And after that, I just became a little angry.
Stanton, who worked at UFC 107 in Memphis last week with Wicks, repeatedly said that she holds no ill will towards the organization, but did categorize her dismissal as "very unprofessional."

this really blows. i dig logan. shes a total dweeb but awesome same time. she reminds me of winnie cooper who is the love of my life. strikeforce needs to sign her ass. why in the world not?
Arianny tweeted that she had no idea what happened or what was going on. uhhuh. she seems like a cool chick as well. not one to feel threatened by other girls.
as for the ufc and the dismissal. they have shown time after time they have no class at all and treat fighters like shit so why treat such low on the totem pole people like ring card girls with respect?

Maybe they can bring back the chick who won the spiketv octagon girl search, did one event, and then left because she got pregnant. Her kids got to be 2 or 3 now, so she’s probably back at fighting weight.
