Dana White: "Steve Cantwell may never fight again"
There was one last piece of news at the UFC 108 pre-fight press conference that was stealthily spoken by Dana White.
White was asked about the the Vladimir Matyushenko-Steve Cantwell fight, which was recently scrapped. It had been reported that Cantwell suffered an undisclosed injury that prevented him from fighting. When asked about the report and why the fight was scrapped White said, "Cantwell has some medical problems, and he might not ever fight again." Dana declined to elaborate on his fairly bold statement.
So, what is going on with Steve?
No one has any idea. Loretta Hunt contacted the NSAC and they said all his paper work and medical information checked out. Also, that Cantwell's camp thinks he will fight again.
Is this just another case of Dana White over exaggerating the situation?
WKR will keep you posted.

I think
He has a problem similar to Karo.
"I will do nothing lightly. When I walk, I will walk heavily. When I fight, I will fight with conviction. When I speak, I will speak strongly. When I love, I will love with everything"

bummer
This really sucks. Cantwell is a great young fighter, and even with his last two fights losses, they came in competitive decisions. At 22 years of age he had so much promise…
Even a broken clock is right two times a day.
