Shinya Aoki Breaks Mizuto Hirota's Arm

For all those that think you are being a coward for tapping, please, pretty please, think again.

In one of the main events at Dynamite!! 2009 Dream lightweight champion and celebrated grappler, Shinya Aoki, fought Sengoku lightweight champion Mizuto Hirota.

Aoki quickly took Hirota down, locked in two underhooks and took Hirota's back. Shinya then grabbed Hirota's right arm and slowly bendt it backwards. Hirota tried to roll out but Aoki continued to apply the pressure before the referee finally stopped the fight.

Hirota laid prostrate on the canvass in visible pain with the broken stump of an arm exposed. In that moment the announcers realized that Mizuto hadn't been simply submitted rather his body was broken.

In the heat of the moment Shinya Aoki decided to salute Hirota with a middle finger in his face as he lay beaten and broken.

Update: Shinya Aoki later apologized:

"After my fight, I was excited, and so I did something rude that I should apologize for. But that showed just how excited I was over that fight."

Did he go on to insult any of the shows sponsers? To paraphrase Aoki himself, that “seemed like a not very professional” thing to do.

break comes at 2:28, you can’t see the arm, but you can notice the jerk from it popping, probably a dislocation of the shoulder or something

I was never an Aoki fan due to his constant crying after fights, win or lose. But this is just over the top and seals the deal. I would love to see Florian slice him up with some bows or BJ make him cry some more.

I’ve always been an Aoki fan, but this douche move has bumped him down the list. In fact, Houston Alexander is standing on his head on that list.
