UFC 109: Relentless Announced

Zuffa announced UFC 109: Relentless today. The event will take place on February 6th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vega, Nevada. The UFC also confirmed five fights, which are posted below.

  • Mark Coleman vs. Randy Couture
  • Josh Koscheck vs. Paulo Thiago
  • Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Brandon Vera
  • Nate Marquardt vs. Chael Sonnen
  • Matt Serra vs. Frank Trigg

Most of the fights were previously reported with the one exception being Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Brandon Vera, which was rumored but shot down by Rogerio Nogueira.

so much for belfort v. marquart. wonder what the next step for belfort is. maybe sexyama? only name that comes to mind thats not up to anything atm.

weak, weak, weak main event. maia and miller should be on the main card as well and make it a 6 fight ppv.

i suspect they will do the 2 fights on spike for this one as well.
