Strikeforce Bans Hoelzer Reich

No Neo-Nazi shirts on WKR, only cute cats instead.

Strikeforce told MMA Fanhouse that they will also not allow Hoelzer Reich to sponsor their fighters.

Strikeforce director of communications Mike Afromowitz informed FanHouse on Wednesday that the San Jose-based organization laid down the same law.

"We will not permit our fighters to wear this type of apparel in our cage," Afromowitz said. "Strikeforce will not tolerate any offensive behavior at any location or at any time by its fighters."

I guess we can chalk this up as a win for the MMA net roots.

Now that the major MMA orgs are on board with the ban, maybe MMA news outlets can cease giving this company anymore lipservice, they don’t deserve the attention even if it is negative.

I agree with you

I was loathe to talk about the subject to begin with due to potentially giving them free press but I felt a moral obligation to do so.

With SF’s ban IMO this story is over.
