UFC releases several fighters

PrintThe unemployment rate hit 7% last week and there are a new candidates for unemployment benefits. Several reports state that Rich Clementi was dropped by the UFC, truly making me look like an idiot for betting on him last Saturday.
Fellow TUFN 17 competitor Luigi Fioravanti was also cut after his loss to Anthony Johnson.
Christian Wellisch recently lost to Jake O'Brien that put his losing streak to 2 and overall UFC record at 2-3. The UFC decided to part ways with Wellisch.
It has also been reported that Eddie Sanchez will be leaving the UFC. Also UFC newcomer, Derek Downey, was dumped after his debut. Downey was signed to replace the injured Amir Sadollah.
